Shopping lists
Along with todays Shopping List, Sarah keeps another list tucked away in her wallet.
She calls it her Wish List: A list of things she would like to participate in if
she found that Future Present Lover to share all the everyday and obscure desires.
As she walks the produce aisle choosing Roma Tomatoes she finds a prize, perfect pair with heft and size. She makes a note in her book as she strolls towards berries for pies. She will make it Oh, La La…Ollallaberry to go with tea on Sunday.
She finds the heads of broccoli and denotes the deep green color, tight firm heads freshly cut, thick stalks will make a cool soup with some zucchini added.
Sarah pauses as she passes on Celery.. there is something about that vegetable that
makes her blush as she walked by. Instead chooses a bunch of Italian Flat Leafed Parsley and one of Cilantro too.. these can be sweet with a bit of heat when blended with ginger and lemon for skinny dipping.
Fresh Romaine leaves stand at attention, looking crisp and cool.. and the cucumbers
of all shapes and sizes, some fresh green garlic stalks, their leaves will be wonderful broiled on an outdoor grill.
She adds note in her list ;
